Funn Italiano - Creator’s Guidelines

Welcome to the Funn Italiano community of event creators! By joining our platform, you help promote Italian culture in London through engaging, high-quality events. These guidelines explain how to create events, interact with users, and follow community standards. By using the platform as a creator, you agree to comply with these guidelines and our Terms of Service.

1. Who Can Register as an Event Creator

1.1 Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to register as an event creator. 
  • You can register as a private individual, an organization, or a business. 
  • Funn Italiano accepts only creators who are residents of London, as all events must take place in the city.

1.2 Registration Process

  • No approval process is required: once registered as a creator, you will have access to your Creator Dashboard to create and manage events. 
  • We reserve the right to suspend or delete any creator account that violates our rules or fails to maintain event standards.

2. Creating Events

2.1 Event Creation Process

  • Log into your Creator Dashboard. 
  • Fill in the event form with accurate and complete details, including: 
    • Description, location, date/time, number of spots, and ticket type. 
    • Specify whether the event is free or paid on-site.
  • Creators are responsible for clearly stating how on-site payments will be handled (e.g., cash, card) in the event description.

2.2 Payment Guidelines

  • Events can be free or require payment on-site.
  • If advance payment is required, you must arrange this privately with participants—no payment links or external checkout options are allowed on the platform.
  • Funn Italiano does not handle ticket sales or act as an intermediary for payments.

2.3 Legal Compliance

  • Creators must ensure compliance with all applicable legal requirements (e.g., licenses, insurance, safety regulations) for any events they host.

3. Ticketing and Event Management

3.1 Ticketing

  • Tickets are issued through the platform for registration purposes only. 
  • As a creator, you must: 
    • Welcome attendees in person at the event.
    • Respect the number of registered participants and avoid overbooking.
    • Provide a welcoming and organized experience.

3.2 Cancellations and No-Shows

  • If an unexpected situation occurs and you need to cancel your event:
    • Promptly notify all registered participants via email or phone.
    • Use your Creator Dashboard to cancel the event and close registration.
  • Important:
    • Canceling 4 events within the same month will result in suspension of your platform access.
    • Other serious or repeated violations (e.g., misleading event descriptions,
      inappropriate behavior, poor attendee experience) may lead to permanent removal from the platform.
  • Funn Italiano reserves the right to take action to maintain quality and community trust.

4. Community Conduct

4.1 Expected Behavior

  • Creators must maintain a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment by:
    • Being punctual, present, and responsive during events.
    • Treating all participants with courtesy and professionalism.
    • Refraining from any inappropriate or offensive behavior.

4.2 Prohibited Activities

  • Events involving illegal activities.
  • Events that promote violence, hate speech, or discrimination.
  • Events with sexually explicit or inappropriate content.
  • Religious or political gatherings.
  • Pyramid schemes or aggressive marketing events.
  • We reserve the right to remove any event that violates these guidelines without prior notice.
